The recipe for this recipe uses soy sauce, so you’ll need a saucepan.
Ingredients for Peanut soy sauce: 4 ounces soy sauce 1/2 cup olive oil 2 tablespoons peanut oil 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup water 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/8 teaspoon ground coriander 2 cups sweet potato, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces 2 teaspoons brown sugar, packed 1/5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/6 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/7 teaspoon ground allspice 2 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon soy sauce 3 tablespoons peanut butter Directions: Combine soy sauce and oil in a sauce pan over medium heat.
Cook until the oil is shimmery.
Add the peanut oil, salt, ginger, cinnamon, allspices, corianders, and nutmeg.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture starts to thicken.
Add water as needed to make sure that the sauce is thick enough to coat the sides of a 9-inch springform pan.
Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Serve on the side.
