The garlic and onions combine with a delicious soy sauce to make a savoury and fragrant soy sauce.
I also love that the recipe requires you to add a little oil and vinegar to get the sauce to melt.
This recipe is also great for adding a splash of soy sauce (just add a small pinch of salt) to your dish to keep the soy sauce flavour and texture smooth.
For those of you with more delicate tastes, you can also make it vegan and substitute for the onion-garlic sauce, as shown in the recipe.
