In a rare public statement on the matter, owner and chef Matthew Sargent has called on diners to accept the “terrible news” and “be brave” after the chef was told it would be his last year at his beloved Australian restaurant, Grace.

In a statement, Mr Sargant said he was “so happy and excited” about the win at the restaurant in the city of Brisbane, where he’s worked for the past 18 years.

“We have been incredibly lucky,” he said.

“I think the best thing is that there are people out there who are so brave, and I think that’s what we’re up against.”‘

I think people are going to hate it’In the past few weeks, Mr Henson has been inundated with messages of support from customers and other restaurant employees.

“When I saw that I was on the other side of the country, it’s hard for people to understand why people in this situation are in this position,” he told 7.30.

“But I think people, if they think they’re going to love this restaurant, they’re not going to.”

Mr Sarget said the loss of the restaurant was a major blow to the local community and would affect the local food scene.

“It’s going to be hard for the foodie community in Brisbane, especially if there’s any impact on the local economy, but the chef is a local and we’re going with him,” he explained.

“He’s a family man, he’s a really good guy and we have to keep that family together.”

The chef, who has a five-year-old daughter, said the decision to close was not his alone.

“They’ve lost the restaurant and it’s just a huge loss,” he stated.

There’s so many good memories of people working at this place and so many people I’ve been able to work with and work with them over the years.

“But it’s sad to see it end.”

The restaurant is one of the most popular in Brisbane and has attracted a large following of customers from around the country.

Which is better, the new soy sauce or the old one?
