How to make soy sauce with onions and garlic (in the name of science!)

Posted December 05, 2017 12:01:37I don’t know why I love this recipe more than the rest, but I love it.

The garlic and onions combine with a delicious soy sauce to make a savoury and fragrant soy sauce.

I also love that the recipe requires you to add a little oil and vinegar to get the sauce to melt.

This recipe is also great for adding a splash of soy sauce (just add a small pinch of salt) to your dish to keep the soy sauce flavour and texture smooth.

For those of you with more delicate tastes, you can also make it vegan and substitute for the onion-garlic sauce, as shown in the recipe.

This recipe is adapted from a book by Poonam Sharma (Poonam and the Peasants of Patan) which is available for purchase here: https://book.google.co.in/books/about/The_Soy_Sauce_Manuscript_by_Poonan.html?id=gYg4sYl5Cx4C&utm_source=gb-gplus-sharebar This post may contain affiliate links.
